A " Goza " (rush mat) is an ancient Japanese living room rug made of a tatami-like fabric. It is ideal for nap. Goza rush mat is made of rush grass, a very finely woven plant fabric, and the moment you spread it out in your living room, it will smell very nice, just like when you take a forest bath. The "phytoncide" contained in the rush mat aroma is effective for relaxation, insomnia, and stress reduction.

The history of Goza is very old and there are descriptions of its original use as early as 2,000 years ago. Goza are also found in picture scrolls from the Kamakura period (1185-1333), the medieval period in Japan.

You can take it to another room! The comfortable weight is due to the many rushes woven into the mat.

"Igusa" is the material of goza. This goza is handmade by Japanese craftsmen one by one in Japan using natural Japanese rush grass. The density of the rush mat is very high, so it is very beautiful and dust is hard to get into the mat.

Goza, Japanese rush mats, have a long history, but because they are made of natural materials, they can be easily blended with wooden flooring and sofas. This time, we adjusted the color of the hedge to match the color of igusa, so it blends in better with modern furniture and interior design!
